I am currently working on this season's calendar. Watch this space.
A Story, - Whilst at the West Somerset Railway Rally 2017 a man suggested I went to Blue Anchor to find the man there who had 4 or 5 Austin Gipsy trucks. He told me this man was really keen on them and did not use anything else. I asked how he knew my father (I assure you it could not have been anybody else). He replied he was a butcher in Watchet and each morning my father bought some raw meat for his Siamese cat. Then I said he must have been the devil who tied a pig tail on the back of Father's Gipsy and he drove round all day before somebody pointed it out to him. This butcher admitted his crime, so I said "Got you at last!". Now days it would be bullying, but 50 years ago it was just good fun.
Just a thankyou note for all your work in sending the books (to Australia) etc. They arrived a couple of weeks ago though haven’t had a chance to read them to all the grand kids yet. More inside time when the weather gets colder. If you ever bring out more Davey books please let me know. I’ll always be David Brown fan for sure.
Thanks again for your help, Cheers, David J.
"Davey to the Rescue"
I like this story even more than Waking up Davey. The expressions on the tractors are so convincing.
Lots to see in the illustrations.
